Inspired by Great Britain's Tim Peake and his successful space mission, we've decided to name our classes after space rockets and launchers. In the words of Buzz Lightyear, 'to infinity and beyond' - at St Barnabas this is where we take our learning!
We are VOYAGER class, Welcome to our class page.
In year 1, learning is lively, fun and creative. We enjoy practical opportunities to discover and enquire whilst building on our independent learning skills. We are happy learners that enjoy working together in an inspiring, caring and respectful environment that aims to fulfil our potential. In our class, everyone is treated as an individual and everyone’s views matter. We are motivated and enthused learners who encourage one another in a supportive and friendly way.
|Please read the three documents below. They outline the curriculum for Reading, Writing and Maths in Year One. At St.Barnabas we use these documents to assess your children's depth of understanding throughout the academic year.|
